Protective Rain Tarp for Lees-ure Lite Trailers

The breathable fabric used on a Lees-ure Lite trailer is "water resistant". For a sustained heavy rain, you really should have a rain fly. This is probably the one single option you really need to have.

One of the most popular options is an awning. The awning attaches securely to the main tent with a heavy duty zipper, and is supported by collapsible poles and guy lines. (Pictured at right, double awnings, one with optional Add A Room/Garage.) There is no need to remove the awning (or awnings if you use two) when folding up the trailer. Before folding the tent, simply remove the awning poles, flip the awning over the trailer, and secure the loose corners to the tent. Awnings are available in five or seven foot widths. Because the seven foot model gives you so much more for only a little more money, we only stock the seven foot width version, but would be glad to special order the five foot for you if that's what you want.

You can relax in a "bug-free" environment with the screen room, or add an extra room for more bunk space/storage. You can even use the extra room as a garage for your bike. You don't have to choose which....You can have both! With two entrance doors (all Lees-ure Lites 2005-up come with two doors), you can have one on each side. With an Awning/Room attached on each side, the overall width is an incredible 18+ feet! Both the Add A Room, and the Screen Room attach to the awning and tent (awning purchased separately).
As with the awnings, we only stock the seven foot versions, but will be glad to special order the five foot version for you if that's what you want.

These 2" thick mattresses come with a removable cloth cover and are custom made to fit Lees-ure Lite's trailers. They are made so that the end is easily flipped over on to itself before folding down the interior bed extension.

These pockets are extremely handy and highly recommended. What you will figure out the first time you spend the night in your new camper, is that there is no place to put small items (keys, wallet, flashlight, eyeglasses, TP, etc,) other than on the bed or the floor.

Lees-ure Lite recommends this option for heavier owners over 250 lbs, because as the lid is flipped open it becomes the floor. Rick (the owner of Lees-ure Lite) told me that they have NEVER replaced a lid that was broken or cracked from too much weight, so I guess this is more of a "feel good" type of option. However, being well into the, uhh, shall we say "target range" of this option myself, I can tell you I much prefer the more solid feel of the thicker lid.
Obviously, this option needs to be added at the factory. We normally try to keep at least one or two of these in stock at all times in limited colors. Of course, if you want a color we don't have in stock with the heavier lid, we will be glad to get it for you.

This lockable storage container is constructed from 16 guage aluminum, mounts under the trailer, and is a great place to store rolled up carpet/astroturf mat, axe, compact camp chairs, etc.. Measurements are 12" X 6" X 52" long on the Excel model, 44" long on the Cycle. It's low mounting point located towards the rear of the trailer can help reduce tongue weight when loaded "front heavy" such as when using the storage pod. It is not sealed water tight, so plan on storing things here that won't be damaged by the weather or in their own water tight container. Both models are in stock.

This very handy option is not only extremely useful, it also enhances the appearance of your Lees-ure Lite trailer.
The aerodynamically styled storage Pod measures 29"L X 17"D X 39"Wide at it's widest point. It is lockable, and has a weather strip to seal out the elements. This easily accessible container is a great place to carry things that you may need while traveling.

Air conditioning kit adapts your small window AC unit to any Lees-ure Lite trailer

Another popular option, wide tires look great on the street and are recommended for extra floatation when used off-road such as behind Jeeps or ATVs. Go from the stock 4.80 X 8" tire to a 16.5 X 6.5 X 8" tire on a wider rim. Tires are 6 ply rated with a maximum load capacity of 795 lbs each.

Note: Red Eye Bearing Protectors are NOT Lees-ure Lite factory items.
Bearing protectors are great for long bearing life, and genuine Red Eyes are the best. I can tell you from my own vast, long distance trailering experiences (all kinds, not just motorcycles), other brands will start leaking and oozing grease in a relatively short time, whereas the much better designed Red Eyes seem to last about forever. Simply fill with a grease gun until full every time you leave on a trip, and you can feel confident that your wheel bearings will never dry out.
Bearing protectors are not without a few caveats however.
If you over fill them, you may push out the rear seal, requiring removal of the hub and installation of a new seal.
You will probably find that as the rear seal gets worn, the "always under slight pressure" grease will tend to slowly get slung out on to the back of the wheel rim, some making it to the inside of the fenders, or in our case here, on to the bottom of the trailer. That's OK, personally I'll live with it.
The other problem is that with the narrow wheels on a Lees-ure Lite trailer, the bearing protectors stick out kind of far. 'Not the prettiest thing I've ever seen, and I would not recommend them for off road use where obstacles could knock them off.

Hub Caps for Lees-ure Lite Trailers

Note: The custom hub caps are NOT Lees-ure Lite factory items
All hubcaps have holes cut in the center to clear the dust covers on the wheel hubs. Most of these hub caps would undoubtedly look nicer if the rims were painted black.
With the exception of the "Baby Moon" style caps, these are all made of plastic. While they look great from a couple of feet away, small imperfections are quite common. You probably should not expect flawless, "show quality" chrome on plastic.

A swivel coupler allows a motorcycle unlimited lean angles without binding on the hitch ball.
Some people feel that this is an absolute must when pulling a trailer behind a motorcycle.
Some people don't.
While the jury may still be out on whether this is an absolute necessity, it certainly doesn't hurt anything. We use one ourselves.

An important feature unique to Lees-ure Lite trailers is the ability to easily store your trailer tipped up on end. With a footprint of only 36" X 56" when stood up, the space savings when stored may be enough to allow storage in your dry, secure garage instead of out in the yard. Note that if your garage ceiling is not high enough, you may have to remove the tongue. (2 bolts)
